Since 2018, Bede’s Live has been hosting press conference sessions where students meet inspiring people from different fields — entrepreneurs, artists, activists, scientists and more.

In these events, students take on the role of real journalists: they research the guest, prepare smart questions, and attend the session as if they were official reporters from Bede’s Live. Afterward, they create a radio-style summary to share with our audience, sometimes including real audio clips from the event.

This experience helps them boost their confidence, improve their English fluency, and develop key skills like critical thinking, interviewing, and reporting — all while connecting with the world beyond school.
